1) Photomath

This free app will solve any math question you take a picture of. This lets you quickly check your work and identify where you made a mistake when you get a question wrong.

2) Wermac

Wermac is a great resource to learn more about piping, valving, and process equipment. It goes into more depth than Panglobal on some critical concepts and should be kept in your back pocket after entering the workforce.

3) Spirax Sarco Steam tables

Interpolating steam values for advanced thermodynamic problems can be time-consuming. These tables allow you to quickly look up properties for saturated and superheated steam at any pressure or temperature.

4) Youtube

Youtube has an abundance of material, unfortunately, some videos are low quality and can be hard to keep focused. Power Engineering Academy's Youtube channel collects the best videos and sorts them so you can spend your time effectively.

5) Quizlet

Quizlet is a great resource that allows Power Engineers to create quizzes and flashcards as well as review other Power Engineers' test banks. Unfortunately, this free resource has no quality control so it can be hard to know if the questions you are studying are correct or relevant to your exam

6) The Engineering Toolbox

This is a great resource for online calculators, unit conversions, and additional information on thermodynamics and boiler systems.

7) App Block

App block is a smartphone app that allows you to block annoying or distracting apps and websites to help you focus on your homework.

8) Power Engineering Subreddit

This is a growing community that is great if you are looking for peer advice and don't have a Facebook Account.

9) Power Engineers Anonymous  File Page

This is a portion of the well-known Facebook Group that saves every file uploaded to the Facebook page by users. This includes old exam questions and other great resources. Unfortunately, some subjects are missing, and there is no way for the group to correct or update material once it is loaded.

10) Operating Engineering  Discord Group

This is a great and underused resource for  Power Engineers sharing study material, exam tips, and job postings. Similar to the Subreddit, being disassociated from your real name can be beneficial when you are looking for help preparing for your exams.
